Fashion Statement

His air force one’s are super clean, blue, white and gold to match his lid
His new socks stops at the bottom of his shorts, his whole leg is hid
His plain white reaches down to his knees so new it still has folds
His Jesus piece hangs down to his waist dipped in flossy white gold
His white gold and diamond studs are large r than casino dice
He should be wearin ear muffs, his ears must be cold from the ice

He was very careful getting dressed because his job imparts fashion stress
He’s not tryin to state a point it’s nothing fancy, his clothes do not anoint
He ain’t out for an office position and he ain’t even speak but the streets listen
Body language speaks louder than words so ever so quietly his intentions are heard
Don’t mess with me cause I’m not for play is what his clothes are tryin to say

Yeah, everybody knows he’s not to be messed with
all he did was put on his uniform and the statement was made
The white guy in the suit knows it and so does the kid on the bike
The dudes on the corner that look just like him get the message too
He didn’t set out to make a statement but non the less
A statement is made, not really a fashion statement per say
But definitely a statement of fashion is being made today
